10년 전

사용해본 결과 3)번이 원하는 결과를 주더군요.
직접적으로 SMS를 전송하는 방식이 아닌, 안드로이드에 내장된 SMS 전송 어플에 전송할 내용을 넘겨주는 방식 입니다.

1)
ContentValues values = new ContentValues();
values.put("address", "123456789");
values.put("body", "foo bar");
getContentResolver().insert(Uri.parse("content://sms/sent"), values);

2)
Intent sendIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_SENDTO, Uri.parse("sms://"));
sendIntent.putExtra("address", "123456789");
sendIntent.putExtra("sms_body", "foo bar");
startActivity(sendIntent);

3)
Intent smsIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse("smsto:3330349"));
//smsIntent.setType("vnd.android-dir/mms-sms");
smsIntent.putExtra("sms_body", message);
startActivity(smsIntent);

4)
Intent smsIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
smsIntent.putExtra("address", "3330349");
smsIntent.setType("vnd.android-dir/mms-sms");
startActivity(smsIntent);

5)
        Intent sendIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
        sendIntent.putExtra("sms_body", "Content of the SMS goes here...");
        sendIntent.setType("vnd.android-dir/mms-sms");
        startActivity(sendIntent);
